Let us begin by acknowledging the Kamilaroi people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

  • Turn right onto Dawsons Springs Road and drive for another 450 m

Getting started
From the end of Dawsons Spring Road, head along Dawsons Spring Nature Trail as you move directly away from the cabins. After about 360 metres, veer/turn right at the fork and follow Kaputar Summit Trail to continue along Mount Kaputar Summit from Dawsons Spring Track.....

After 70 m pass the shelter (on your left).
After another 20 m pass the sign (on your left).
After another 70 m cross the bridge (about 4 m long)
After another 35 m cross the bridge (about 85 m long)
After another 130 m veer right.
After another 305 m continue straight.
After another 580 m continue straight.
After another 65 m turn left.
After another 15 m pass the car park (9 m on your right).
Continue another 70 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 1.4 km to get back to the start.
