Hard track
Starting from the end of Abercrombie Caves Road and Abercrombie Caves campsite, this return walk leads along Grove Creek through Abercrombie Caves area to get to the spectacular large Grove Creek Falls. Enjoy the waterfall from the lookout near the top, or wander down to the bottom of the falls if you'd like. Let us begin by acknowledging the Wiradjuri people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
To get started, follow Grove Creek Falls Track (south of the ticket office), past Grove Creek cabins (on the opposite side of the creek from the Abercrombie Caves campground) away from the ticket office.....

Find the Abercrombie Caves Campground at the start.
After 270 m cross the ford.
After another 1.2 km cross the ford.
Then cross the ford.
Then cross the ford.
After another 130 m continue straight.
After another 25 m cross the ford.
The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to a lookout with a view over Grove Creek falls. To start this optional side trip continue straight here. On returning from this side trip turn sharp right when you get back to this intersection. Details below.
After another 490 m turn left.
After another 155 m cross the ford.
After another 50 m cross the ford.
After another 125 m come to "Grove Creek Falls".
Turn around here and retrace the main route for 2.4 km to get back to the start.

About 130 m past the end is "Grove Creek Falls".
