Lynchs Loop Trail is a circuit walk in Weddin Mountains National Park. It starts past Ben Halls Campground and offers great views and birdwatching opportunities. Let us begin by acknowledging the Wiradjuri people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

  • Turn right onto Back Piney Range Road and drive for another 8.7 km

After another 220 m turn left.
The starting point of an optional sidetrip. Side trip to a lookout with great views of the valley. To start this optional side trip turn left here. On returning from this side trip turn left when you get back to this intersection. Details below.

After another 410 m cross the ford.
After another 165 m cross the ford.
After another 95 m cross the ford.
After another 210 m cross the ford.
After another 30 m veer right.
After another 45 m cross the ford.
After another 95 m continue straight.
After another 220 m come to the end.

Side trip to a lookout with great views of the valley.

Turn around and retrace your steps back the 215 m to the main route.
